Terms and Conditions for ADHD Mentoring with Emily

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of services provided by ADHD Mentoring with Emily. By booking a session, using this website, or engaging with any of my services, you agree to the following terms:

1. Overview

  • This website is operated by ADHD Mentoring with Emily. Throughout the site, the terms “I”, "we," "us," and "our" refer to ADHD Mentoring with Emily.

  • By using this website and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Services

  • ADHD mentoring services are non-clinical and aimed at providing practical support for individuals with ADHD to manage challenges and achieve personal goals.

  • Sessions are tailored to the individual needs of the client and may include 1-to-1 mentoring, planning, worksheets and practical exercises.

  • All services are provided in accordance with the Confidentiality and Safeguarding Policies, which can be found on our website.

3. Session Fees and Payment

  • All sessions are booked via Acuity Scheduling. Payments are due in advance or within 24 hours of booking.

  • The fees for sessions are clearly listed on the website and vary based on session length. Fees are subject to change with prior notice to clients.

  • Payment is made via Squarespace or FreshBooks invoice.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled session to avoid a full charge.

  • If Emily Ramsey needs to cancel a session, a refund or rescheduled session will be offered.

  • Refunds are available if you cancel before the session begins, but if you fail to attend or cancel late, no refund will be provided.

5. Confidentiality

  • All client information shared during the mentoring process is confidential and will not be disclosed without consent, except in cases where safety is a concern or required by law.

  • Personal data will be handled in accordance with the GDPR and Data Protection Laws.

6. Professional Conduct

  • Both the mentor (Emily Ramsey) and mentee (client) agree to maintain respectful and professional behavior during all sessions.

  • Inappropriate behavior, such as harassment or aggressive language, will not be tolerated and may result in termination of the mentoring relationship.

7. Liability and Insurance

  • Emily Ramsey holds Professional Indemnity Insurance and Public Liability Insurance for the protection of both the mentor and mentees (clients).

  • However, Emily Ramsey ADHD Mentoring is not liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from the use of the mentoring services.

8. Termination of Service

  • Either party may terminate the mentoring agreement with one week’s notice.

  • If the client decides to end services before the minimum six sessions have been completed, the full fee for the agreed sessions is still due.

  • Emily Ramsey reserves the right to suspend services for non-payment, as per the agreed payment terms.

9. Amendments to Terms and Conditions

  • These Terms and Conditions may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this website, and clients will be notified as applicable.

  • By continuing to use the services after any changes, you agree to the updated terms.

10. Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled within the jurisdiction of English courts.
